Air Quality Assurance

Wells air purifiers can automatically adjust their operating capacity based on input from advanced sensors. LED indicators show you the current air quality status at all times and give you a visual alert if high levels of pollution are detected.

Intelligent Monitoring

Intelligent sensors continuously monitor the quality of the air in your home. An optical micro-dust sensor detects pollen and fine dust levels (PM 2.5) while a smart odour sensor scans the air for the presence of gases and volatile organic compounds (TVOC).

1. Micro Dust Sensor

The highly sensitive optical micro dust sensor monitors the level of fine dust, as small as 2.5 microns (PM2.5), that passes the air purifier, adjusting the air quality indicator and, if needed, activating the air quality alert.

2. Odour Sensor

The odour sensor uses organic semiconductor technology to detect specific household gasses, including hazardous VOC gases. If the detected gas levels increase, the sensor will adjust the air quality indicator and activate the air quality alert if required.

3. Daylight Sensor

A daylight sensor can automatically detect dusk and activate the sleep mode, which reduces the noise level to a minimum and turns off the air quality indicator LED. At dawn, the auto mode is reactivated.

Smart Auto Mode

When auto mode is activated, the air purifier will automatically adjust the operating speed to the actual air quality in the room, assuring a constant supply of fresh air.

Sensor Controlled

In auto mode, the operating speed of the ventilator is controlled by the high-precision dust sensor and gas sensor.

Auto Sleep Mode

When it is dark, the air purifier will automatically switch to sleep mode. At sunrise, it will resume the regular auto mode operation.

Air Quality Indication And Alerts

A multi-colour LED display makes it easy to see at a glance the current status of the air quality in the room. If the intelligent sensors in the Wells air purifiers detect a high level of pollution or gases, the air purifier will give a visual alert.

1) The capacity of all Wells Air Purifiers is tested by independent institutes applying the Modified US 42 CFR part 84 regulations for testing respiratory devices published by the US National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health.

2) Wells Air Purifiers are classified as N100 respiratory protective devices. According to the Modified US 42 CFR part 84 test methods, Wells Air Purifiers filters over 99.991% of Sodium-Chloride particles from the circulated air.

3) The Zero Clear Hepa Filter of the Wells Air Purifiers is able to filter aerosols. Viruses like Influenza (H1N1) and Covid-19 (Sars-Cov-2) that are attached to these aerosols would be captured by the Zero Clear Hepa filter. However, only aerosols that are in the air that passes through the air purifier can be filtered. Air purifiers are useful to contribute to a healthier indoor environment, but cannot prevent contamination by influenza, Covid-19 or any other virus.
4) The indicated capacity is the maximum capacity of Wells Air Purifier AN 734.

5) The indicated capacity is the noise level in sleep mode of Wells Air Purifier AL106.

6) The indicated air changes per hour is based on the typical values used in heating and ventilation guidelines. For living rooms and bed rooms, it is recommended that the air is changed at least between 1 and 3 times per hour, depending on the number of people in the room. In environments with high humidity or higher levels of air pollution, as well as for people with respiratory complaints, a higher rate of air changes per hour is recommended.
